Position: Marketing Data Analyst

What: The primary responsibility of the Marketing Data Analyst is to support the data analysis and reporting needs across client programs and internal infrastructure. The Marketing Data Analyst provides insights for evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of campaigns that help clients and internal teams make informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop both simple and complex metrics for each program or project utilizing data sources made available.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure necessary data is captured and analytic needs are well defined upfront.
- Work with project management to coordinate analytic needs with development timelines.
- Mine and analyze data from various sources to discover critical business and program insights.
- Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business and program development.
- Translate business requests into accessible and valuable reports and ensure the integrity of that data.
- Perform data research in support of program development and business development teams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing and insightful dashboards and reports.
- Identify best methods of capturing data and procure devices as needed.
- Provides strategic counsel to clients including defining annual goals and objectives
- Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum two years experience with data analysis and marketing databases
- Proficiency at querying relational databases (SQL) and ability to pull data from various sources
- Experience with SSRS developing reports
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling or simulation tools
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a non-technical audience and be able to translate business objective into actionable analysis.
- Working knowledge of marketing activities, practices and procedures
