Position: Senior Account Executive
Where: Seattle
What: Sterling Communications helps growth-oriented technology companies tell their stories in a compelling manner by taking a holistic approach to communications that integrates public relations, social media and marketing communications. Business is booming and we’re eager to add an experienced senior account executive to our Seattle team.
Responsibilities:
-Serving as the day-to-day contact on multiple client accounts
– Working on major projects, like company and product launches
– Spearheading media and analyst outreach
– Utilizing social media tools to help clients engage with key audiences
– Writing releases, pitches, blog posts, web copy and more
– Acting as the client’s primary point of contact
– Training and mentoring account coordinators and account associates
– Networking and assisting in new business development
Requirements:
– Four to six years of agency PR experience
– Experience as a reporter, editor or industry analyst
– Superb communication skills with the ability to translate creative thought into original writing
– Social media experience, beyond Facebook and Twitter
– A demonstrated track record of positive results
– A bachelor’s degree in journalism or related communications field
– Experience in enterprise infrastructure, mobility, security, analytics and/or biotech
– The ability to manage multiple deadline-driven activities without missing a beat
