Position: Public Relations Senior Account Executive

Business is booming and they’re eager to add an experienced senior account executive to the Seattle team.
Responsibilities: At Sterling, senior account executives serve as the day-to-day contact on multiple client accounts and responsibilities often include:
– Working on major projects, like company and product launches
– Spearheading media and analyst outreach
– Utilizing social media tools to help clients engage with key audiences
– Writing releases, pitches, blog posts, web copy and more
– Acting as the client’s primary point of contact
– Training and mentoring account coordinators and account associates
– Networking and assisting in new business development
Requirements:
– Four to six years of agency PR experience
– Experience as a reporter, editor or industry analyst
– Superb communication skills with the ability to translate creative thought into original writing
– Social media experience, beyond Facebook and Twitter
– A demonstrated track record of positive results
– A bachelor’s degree in journalism or related communications field
– Experience in enterprise infrastructure, mobility, security, analytics and/or biotech
– The ability to manage multiple deadline-driven activities without missing a beat
