The Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) welcomes a new addition to the museum experience, the Bezos Center for Innovation. Supported by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife, MacKenzie Bezos, the center will showcase Seattle leaders in innovation and entrepreneurship. The exhibition will open on October 12 and will focus on educating youth on the history of Seattle’s trailblazing companies through interactive and social experiences. The center will also involve exhibits and programs that will encourage students to witness stories of invention and imagine all possibilities.
The Bezos Center is an exciting new highlight of the museum experience, where visitors explore the powerful story of innovation in Seattle, and young people discover the innovator within themselves. Featuring interactive experiences and special insights from some of Seattle’s leading-edge innovators, MOHAI’s new Bezos Center for Innovation is the place to discover the past and future of creativity and invention in our region.
MOHAI members will have the chance to explore the Bezos Center for Innovation early with a special Member Preview on Friday evening, October 11, 2013. Special festivities and programming for the public will take place on Saturday, October 12.
