CBS Radio is seeking the ideal candidate to lead the digital department¡¦s efforts in the desirable Seattle market for top radio stations and websites; KMPS-FM, KZOK-FM, KJAQ-FM, KPTK-AM. This position requires a strategic thinker with broad web, digital and marketing experience to develop a digital team and collaborate with program and marketing managers by directing the web content, social media, loyalty programs and consumer promotions. The Director of Online Content is responsible for achieving the corporate directed goals for website traffic. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to motivate, educate and coach on-air talent and web coordinator(s) to develop creative web solutions and post content to achieve our goals and support the radio station¡¦s unique brands. Working with Digital Sales Manager to achieve their sales goals will be paramount in this position.

Responsibilities: Developing a strategic plan to achieve traffic goals.Implement and execute programming, marketing and sales web initiatives. Developing and maintaining partner relationships and clients. Working with CBS Radio corporate team to maximize tools and services. Corporate and station management reporting. Using template based programs to update station websites Creation and maintenance of web content including; email blasts, uploading and editing audio and video for web use, blogging, loyalty program and posting content. Assist marketing, promotions and sales in web banner design and promotional materials for websites. Work with third party website vendors; Media Web Connect, Triton, Media Visual Group, etc. Maintain and continue to enhance industry subject matter expertise by reading trade publications, attending informational meetings and participating in industry associations. In-depth understanding how companies are using their digital assets to market and monetize their websites and social media assets. Regularly review market trends and innovations for new ideas and opportunities.
Requirements: 5+ years digital experience. Exceptional communication skills. A deep understanding and an overall competence in multiple marketing disciplines. Highly motivated, self-disciplined and results focused. Experience working with web-based platforms like Word Press, HTML, JavaScript, Illustrator, Action Scrip, etc. and graphic-based programs like Adobe Photoshop, Flash, etc. Social Media experience. BA/BS in Computer Science preferred.
