Biz Bits: Preparing to Hire Your First Employee, WWBC
When: Wednesday, March 12, 2014, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Where: Community Capital Development 1437 S. Jackson St Seattle
What: Hiring can be a tricky business, and very costly if you’re not ready…or choose the wrong person. This workshop is a quick introduction to the things you should think about before making the commitment to hire someone. We’ll cover differences between hourly wages and salary, job descriptions, employee manuals, and a little financial consideration thrown in for good measure. This workshop will not cover contractor vs. employee because that will be its own Biz Bits course later on in the series.
