What: This course is designed to give attendees information on how Community Capital Development can help them start a new business. Topics that are covered include how to write a business plan, how to research your market and how to prepare financial statements that will help you get funded.
After attending orientation, you may make arrangements to meet with a Washington Women’s Business Center small business consultant for further guidance. Individual consultations are offered free of charge.
Who: Darren Guyaz, the instructor for this orientation, is a Small Business Consultant for the Washington Women’s Business Center at Community Capital Development. He is a musician, photographer, writer, three time entrepreneur, coach, and graduate of Pinchot University’s sustainable MBA program. He is trained in the Toyota Kata methodology of coaching/consulting by the W3 Group.
