iStreamPlanet is operating services which power digital media delivery – performance, quality, and cost efficiency are the foundations of a great customer experience. No one wants to see a blackout during the last 2 minutes of the Superbowl if a server reboots!
We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive our core system architecture – everything from video encoding on GPU architectures, high availability networking, reporting and telemetry, to public cloud integration. If you love distributed systems and hard technical problems, we have just the challenge you’ve been looking for.
Responsibilities:
- Define the requirements based on customer need and business goals
- Design the high level experience for external customers and operations, everything from management console UX to the SLA measurements
- Manage the product development cycle: resource, prioritize, make trade-offs, triage, and ensure we create useful business value with your engineering and operations colleagues.
- Deliver a world class, highly reliable platform spanning private and public clouds
Requirements:
- Customer centric – we win when our customers win. You believe in teamwork, collaboration, and in taking the initiative to move us forward.
- Highly technical and able to manage complex design decisions jointly with senior engineers
- An excellent communicator in both verbal and written skills.
- Experienced with 5+ years in a product creation discipline (technical program management, product management, engineering management). Media and cloud experience are both a plus.
- Educated with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
