What: Seattle will celebrate the arrival of 2016 withone of the world’s largest structure-launched fireworks displays as the Space Needle presents “New Year’s at the Needle” for the 31st consecutive year. The eight-minute fireworks display begins just before midnight on Thursday, December 31.
More than 20,000 people are expected to gather below the Space Needle and around the Seattle Center campus. Additionally, an estimated 400,000 will view the show from surrounding neighborhoods, along with another half-million tuning-in from home, as fireworks ignite the Seattle
