We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer in Test to join our engineering team to help build and test our next-generation cloud-based healthcare platform. The primary mission of this team is to create a highly configurable, user-friendly platform for behavioral health care practices, agencies, and clinicians to streamline administration and improve clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
● Contribute to a team that is solving complex data, usability, and scalability problems.
● Use your deep understanding of product requirements and technical designs to provide actionable input to improve product quality and testability.
● Create strategies to collaborate with engineers to test solutions to complex engineering challenges.
● Develop robust test automation using C#, Selenium, and NUnit as well as other test automation technologies.
● Analyze unexpected product behaviors to determine succinct repro steps and provide additional information/support to engineers in pinpointing root cause.
● Seek out and be a champion for leveraging proven technologies and best practices for improving product quality and efficiency.
● Work with modern, highly scalable application technologies such as Cassandra, Elastic Search, RESTful APIs, JSON, and others.
● Use and practice the “lean” approach to build what is needed with high quality and high efficiency.
Requirements:
● 7+ years testing enterprise-level solutions for consumer-focused products
● 4+ years developing reliable test automation running in a continuous integration environment using the following: C# (preferred) or Java, Selenium (preferred) or other UI automation framework, NUnit (preferred) or other test execution framework.
● Must have a team-oriented approach to work, good communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality.
● Experience testing enterprise-level financial systems. BONUS
● Experience testing healthcare solutions. BONUS
● Ability to work with, learn from and take direction from product vision owners, other team members, and domain experts while providing good technical assessment and input.
● Be able to bring up concerns or road blocks as you encounter them and bring up suggestions and solutions.
● Ability to work independently and make decisions that are best for the team and business objectives
● Be able to prioritize the success of the company/team over individual needs.
