Position: Sr. Front End Engineer

What: iSpot.tv is seeking a Sr Front End Developer to join our growing Engineering team. We have a product that is changing how brands, agencies and networks measure and assess the impact of TV advertising campaigns. Our software uses proprietary audio and video analysis to monitor and extract TV commercials, movie trailers and other promotional content from TV. At the same time, our software analyzes consumer interactions with TV ads on the digital screen across search, video and social.
Responsibilities:
• Assist UX team with design and implement a functional and friendly web-based user interface.
• Collaborate with peers and UX consultants on UI and interaction designs.
• Consume internal APIs, experience working with REST a must.
• Ability to design code in a functional and scalable way.
• Experience with version control (GIT), branching.
Requirements:
• 5+ yrs experience with JS, working on high traffic, large web applications.
• Experience with Javascript frameworks & common libraries (jQuery)
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Experience working with graphing libraries (Google Charts, D3, etc)
• Experience with version control (GIT), branching.
• Solid skills in CSS3, SASS, HTML5
• Know-how of JavaScript Minification, pre-processing, Grunt, etc.
• Knowledge of performance considerations, cross browser testing, SEO, and responsive web design.
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Experience working with Photoshop – image assets, sprites, icons is a plus, but not required.
