What: GreaterGood.com is seeking a highly capable PHP Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about web technologies and elegant user experience. You will be leading our web team in building our next generation eCommerce and content-publishing platform. You will have the opportunity to influence over 100M Facebook users across our various properties, work in a fast-pace, high-impact environment, and truly make a difference.
We are aggressively expanding and need someone who can come in, hit the ground running, lead a group of global developers and build our new technology platform.
Responsibilities:
GreaterGood.com is seeking a highly capable PHP Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about web technologies and elegant user experience. You will be leading our web team in building our next generation eCommerce and content-publishing platform. Requirements:
• 5+ years web and software development
• PHP/HTML/CSS/Javascript knowledge required.
• JAVA, .NET, Rails or similar web programming background is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of SOA, client/server and database interaction.
• Understanding of MVC Frameworks (ie: Zend, Symfony , Kohana , Laravel)
• Full Stack Development (JQuery, Ajax, MySQL, HTML)
• Experience working with REST API’s
• Experience with AWS
• Knowledge and experience with Agile Scrum.
• Experience using Git.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Sound judgement in designing simple, intuitive and elegant products.
• Good English proficiency in both written and verbal communications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of WordPress platform a plus.
• Experience with Google Analytics Reporting API and Tools a plus.
• Experience working and leading large remote teams across the world.
• Experience in architecting large-scale high-volume systems.
