Accolade Mobile Developers play a critical role in creating a totally new engagement vector with our end users. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial individuals to create innovative mobile experiences as part of our mission to better the lives of millions of people.
Responsibilities:
Create brand new, innovative, efficient, and scalable web/mobile based solutions applications.
Deliver testable and quality code that can be rapidly deployed.
Partner heavily with internal and external stakeholders to integrate their web services and interfaces.
Rapid prototyping of applications based on constructive user experience feedback.
Focus on UI design principles, making apps work intuitively, without compromising on simplicity and elegance.
Optimize UI and application code for efficiency, reusability and performance.
Assist our user experience team in designing innovative and highly usable mobile interfaces that “just work”.
Work with SDETs to ensure robust, high-quality software, by contributing innovative ideas to improve the testing processes.
Evangelizing best practices in building mobile applications.
Requirements:
In addition to being able to carry out the above responsibilities, we’re looking for someone comfortable working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment that has a good deal of commercial development experience with iOS or Android operating systems:
3+ years development experience building complex mobile applications using Swift/ObjectiveC/C++ or Java/Android SDKs.
3+ years of object-oriented software development experience
2+ years mobile application development at the user interface and system levels.
In-depth knowledge of designing, developing, testing, and deploying mobile applications for mobile platforms (iOS and/or Android) in an Agile Environment, including having one or more Apps listed in the App Store and/or PlayStore.
Experience with agile development methodologies and software management tools such as Jira.
Experience using a modern version control system to accomplish release and configuration management.
Experience debugging code bases, writing and consuming APIs, and writing unit tests and testable code.
Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, data-driven results.
Ability to establish credibility and rapport across the organization with technical and non-technical team members alike.
Ability to successfully collaborate with multiple technical functions, including infrastructure, dev ops, software engineering and support functions.
You are intimately familiar with SaaS development practices used to build and deploy web / mobile applications.
Understanding of regulations associated with PHR and HIPAA.
