Movie Screening: CODE – Debugging the Gender Gap

June 29, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

In today’s society, technology is steadily growing and increasingly becoming one of the most powerful sources in history. With people from all nationalities and ethnicities using technology to connect and interact, it poses the question: Why aren’t the people behind technology as diverse as its users?

CODE, a  documentary film, aims to bring awareness to the lack of diversity within tech jobs. Through various interviews and animations, CODE explores cultural mindsets, stereotypes, and reasons why most minorities are not seeking opportunities in tech.

Save your seat for a limited screening of CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap on June 29 at 6pm.

* All proceeds are directed towards our diversity and scholarship fund.
