Mike Usen – Mike is a Seattle-based Senior Transportation and Environmental Planner with the transportation engineering and planning firm DKS Associates. He is passionate about helping communities become more environmentally friendly and socially equitable to meet the needs of occupants rather than cars. For the past 25+ years, Mike has worked for market-leading consulting firms and large public agencies including King County Metro Transit where Mike established Metro’s award-winning sustainability program and wrote its Sustainability Plan. At DKS, Mike is currently assisting transportation agencies in Washington, Oregon and California as they prepare for the multi-modal future.
