Seattle Rotary presents Steve Ballmer

You’re invited to hear Steve Ballmer speak to Seattle Rotary at noon on January 10th, 2018.

As Steve Ballmer considered his philanthropic future after retiring as CEO of Microsoft, he thought it made sense to first find out what the government does with the money it raises. Where does the money come from and where is it spent? Whom does it serve? And most importantly, what are the outcomes? Steve searched for solid, reliable, impartial numbers to tell the story but eventually realized he wasn’t going to find them. So he put together a small team of people – economists, writers, researchers – and formed USA Facts, a new data-driven portrait of the American population, our government’s finances, and government’s impact on society. Steve will be interviewed by GeekWire’s Todd Bishop.

Ticket cost provides a served lunch and covers costs of the program. Business casual or business professional attire is recommended. Special tables will be reserved for tech company employee volunteers and collaborators.
