Position:Mobile Application Developer

What: Zillow has gone mobile, and we are excited about this new way for home owners, buyers, sellers and professionals to tap into all the great information Zillow has to offer. The Zillow iPhone, Android, and Windows Mobile applications are the #1 real estate applications on their respective devices. We are looking to hire a developer to join our mobile product development team. Someone with a track record of success developing mobile applications (preferably on the iPhone, Android, or Blackberry) platform is a plus.
Responsibilities: Work with a product team on the company’s iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile (and other mobile platform) applications
• Be involved at all stages of application development, from UI design to final testing
• Work closely with other developers to implement server APIs and services to support planned mobile functionality
• Work on an ongoing basis with UI designers, Program Managers and Testers in a team environment
• Consistently write performance-minded, highly-readable code using OO best practices
Requirements: Experience with at least one of Objective-C/Cocoa/Xcode, Java, or C++/C#. Technical expertise in Ajax, XML, Web 2.0 application frameworks, tools and technologies. Exposure to integrating RESTful APIs and web services with applications. BS in Computer Science with a minimum of 2 years of software application and systems development experience. A proven track record of high productivity in application, architecture, design, coding, debugging. Ability to carry out assigned tasks with limited need for supervision. The ability to work in a fast, agile-like and nimble environment with frequent change. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Passion for Web 2.0 and mobile applications. Experience in developing mobile consumer software applications preferably on the iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, or Blackberry platforms a plus.
