Main Event: Eric Hopper will present “New directions in cryptography” (http://ee.stanford.edu/~hellman/publications/24.pdf) and “A method for obtaining digital signatures and public-key cryptosystems” (http://people.csail.mit.edu/rivest/Rsapaper.pdf), a classic paper month covering RSA and diffie-hellman encryption
