Andrew Mawson

Founder and Managing Director, Advanced Workplace Associates

Andrew leads AWA in it’s quest to help leaders around the world ‘Change the world….. of work’​.

In his consulting work, he has advised organisations in many sectors on their work and workplace transition programmes enabling them to realise the economic, social and productivity benefits linked to more agile models of work, place and organisation. Andrew has led AWA, the company he co-founded in 1991, through three recessions, the arrival of the internet and the mobile revolution. He has successfully steered the company it’s service and people to their position in the market as an increasingly relevant enabler for change in the way people, organisations and leaders work.

Chris Alcock

Founding Principal, Six Idea/ Dexus

Chris Alcock is a Founding Principal of Six Ideas, an international workplace consultancy which in Asia Pacific operates as a business unit of Dexus. Chris originally trained as an architect and was managing director of a national architectural practice before moving to workplace consulting at DEGW in 2003. Since then he has developed a broad portfolio of strategic advisory projects across the commercial, government, education and health sectors and is a recognised authority on workplace in Australia and New Zealand. In 2020 he headed a multi-sector research study by Six Ideas into the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on ways of working and workplace which was based on surveys and workshops covering 7500 people in 15 organisations across 5 industry sectors, the most comprehensive of its type conducted specifically in Australia and New Zealand. From this he has a developed understanding of the opportunities and challenges of the blended workplace in a post-pandemic world.

Steve Thompson

Director, ST Projects

With a career spanning 30years in design and construction Steve Thompson has a wealth of experience in project and programme management of some of Australia’s largest and most prestigious commercial developments. These include landmark developments such as Barangoo International Towers, Sydney which combines sustainable construction and fit-out together with a unique environment designed to foster connectivity and collaboration across its tenant base. Specialising in the commercial, technology and industrial sectors Steve provides turnkey solutions for his clients combining development management, project and design management, construction management and commissioning and completion activities.

Raj Krishnamurthy

CEO, Freespace

Raj is one of the co-founding partners and CEO of Freespace (Workplace Fabric). He is very experienced in delivering solutions for the workplace with previous roles as Innovations Director for a $1b FM company and GM of a $100m global service organisation. He balances his passion for technology with creating value-based solutions that sustain for the long term. He is an expert in user centric thinking solutions and systems. Raj is deeply committed to customers success and is passionate about cultivating selective, deep and global relationships.
