Position: Associate Site Merchandiser, Clothing
Where: Seattle (South Lake Union)
What: Amazon.com is looking for an enthusiastic, creative Associate Site Merchandiser to help build and grow our Clothing business by using innovative merchandising techniques and providing compelling content and product information. The Associate Site Merchandiser will also work to drive overall improvement in the look, feel, and navigation of the stores, and will help drive projects and initiatives to improve the shopping experience.To this end, the successful candidate will work with internal and external resources to:
Drive traffic internally and externally to the Amazon Clothing Store
Coordinate and manage external resources to provide thorough and authoritative detail page content
Plan, develop, and execute compelling e-mails
Analyze results of merchandising and traffic driving efforts
Work closely with the retail and 3p teams to optimize promotional efforts and present a unified storefront to the customer
Effectively merchandise products both within the Clothing store and across the Amazon.com platform, and analyze and report on the effectiveness of those efforts
Work closely with other internal teams to create site-wide promotional campaigns
Build customer-friendly navigation of the store
Help drive the challenge of merchandising products that require accurate, detailed information to gain customer trustRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivlent work experience
1+ years experience in marketing or e-commerce merchandising
Must be a self starter, highly motivated, and positive thinking problem solver
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Superior multi-tasker, great at meeting multiple deadlines
Proficient with a varied set of software and editing tools (including Excel, Word, and image editing software)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative, innovative, and conceptual thinker
Experience with HTML or XML familiarity
Online retail experience
Online marketing experience
