Position: DM Creative Director
Where: Poulsbo, WA
What: Masterworks is a company of innovation-driven marketing professionals who are passionate about serving Christian ministries. We are seeking a DM Creative Director to create Digital Marketing strategies and graphic designs that effectively communicate the messages MW clients need to share with their audiences and that move the audience to the desired response.
Responsibilities: 1. Innovate strategies and new initiatives that capitalize on all new media applications to disseminate knowledge, understanding and generate support for MW clients. 2. Design Digital Marketing projects, including video, websites, web application interfaces, landing pages, emails, banner ads, flash animations, mobile applications and other developing media. 3. Programming at a minimum in basic html, javascript, css. 4. Working alongside and interfacing regularly with Creative Director, writers, Director of Digital Marketing, Digital Marketing Strategist, Account Executives, and Account Managers. 5. Mentor other MW staff in the art of graphic design for digital marketing applications. 6. Write blog entries at blog.masterworks.com about the craft, especially as it’s relevant to the industries Masterworks’ clients are in. 7. Keep current on the latest software applications for Digital Marketing design. 8. Demonstrate competence in transmitting projects to vendors and troubleshooting problems in this and other electronic sending processes. 9. Create projects from copy kits with accuracy and completeness, including all called for elements. 10. Insert changes and revise copy in documents with an eye for detail and correctness. 11. Complete projects within budget and given time parameters set by the Traffic Manager and Executive Creative Director. 12. Communicate and interact well with peers, supervisors and client representatives (be a team player). 13. Keep apprised and knowledgeable of current trends and innovations in the field of direct market fund raising – what the leaders in the industry are doing – and how to integrate such new concepts, use of graphics and text that would enhance his/her assigned projects. 14. Always present projects to the best of his/her ability and professionalism.
Requirements: 1. Excellent design. 2. Good organizational skills. 3. Good interpersonal skills. 4. Focused attention to details. 5. Ability to work under pressure without compromising performance. 6. Knowledgeable of the latest computer technology and how to troubleshoot technical problems when such arise. 7. Ability to independently use contemporary design techniques appropriate to market served by client.n8. Extensive email, online and web experience is necessary. 9. Minimum five years’ experience in design along with appropriate educational background. 10. Video experience preferred.
