Position: Web Development/Software Engineer

What: LetsPour is a fast-growing site for wine lovers. This is the fourth start-up for a founding team that has raised over $75 million from top tier VCs in our previous businesses. We’re looking for a top-flight software engineer who is ready for the challenge of growing and expanding our site. You will play a critical role in the design and development of a consumer-facing web site.
We are looking for someone who has:
- 3 or more years of Software Development experience on consumer-facing web sites.
- Excellent user experience design skills.
- Deep understanding of web UI technologies like CSS, JavaScript, Prototype, script.aculo.us, AJAX, and HTML.
- Great coding skills
- Self-motivation and drive to tackle assignments and look for opportunities to improve the product offering.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with dynamic languages (particularly Ruby and JavaScript).
- Understanding of web infrastructure platforms (particularly Ruby on Rails).
- Good understanding of databases.
- Mobile application development and UI skills for iPhone and/or Android a major plus.
