Position: Web Developer (Entry Level) Temp
Where: Bothell, WA
What: SonoSite is a Bothell, Washington-based Medical Device company with market leading technology. We are in the process of launching a new USA website and 10 International websites. As a company that continues to grow and expand, we are looking for a Web Developer to join our interactive marketing group.
Responsibilities: Work with the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing Communications and Sr. Developer / Webmaster on the following:
1. Email Development
• Code, test and deploy HTML email in Eloqua platform
• Work with Email Marketing Coordinator / Project Managers to set up URL’s, Forms, Sales Force ID etc
• May be asked to create design for custom email projects as they arise
2. Web Page Development and Form Processing
• Code, test and deploy Landing Pages in Drupal CMS system for USA and International Websites
• Edit PHP scripts for processing forms
• Work with digital marketing team to flow in content for new USA website and Intl sites
• Become trained in and keep current on Drupal technologies, procedures, admin
• May be asked to create design for custom web projects as they arise
3. SEO Implementation
• Conduct Link Building activities as directed including prospecting and biz dev for links, etc
• Implement Meta Tags in Drupal Platform based on SEO Plan and Recommendations
• Work in Optify tracking interface to evaluate effects of SEO, track and adjust
4. Admin & Project Management
• Update Tracking Assets spreadsheet
• Other administrative tasks as they arise
Requirements:
• Experienced at HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understanding of PHP and MySQL
• Drupal and Eloqua experience a bonus although training offered
• Comfortable in a deadline driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects
• Ability to learn on the fly, react quickly and reprioritize accordingly in response to changing needs and situations
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
• Demonstrated initiative, creative problem-solving skills
• Well organized
• Positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
