Seattle-based Methodologie has applied its brand mapping systems expertise and brand visualizer “tech-knowledgy” to create a unified, one look brand identity for Boeing.
The result is a singular color palette, pinpointing one set of colors and one company typeface while also defining the company’s voice and communication style and determining how photos and images should be used.
What is unique about the branding process is the engagement of Boeing personnel in owning and authoring the new standard. Every person in the Boeing organization has access to the “brand map” and to a company brand network online.
“In a company the size of Boeing… they have many, many agencies articulating their brand, as well as many people on the staff articulating the brand, said Janet DeDonato, Methodologie’s founding partner and strategic director. “[The one brand solution] had to be a really broad and encompassing system.”
The resulting system is sructured enough to keep everyone on the same page from a branding and design perspective, but flexible enough to accommodate products from zero elevation to “30,000 feet and beyond.” [24X7]
