Seattle Seahawks’ fans are ready for this year’s Super Bowl come rain or shine in the New Jersey Meadowlands.
This year, a unique battle cry for fans in the quest for the coveted Lombardi trophy echoes its high tech sponsor: “Bing It On!”
The Hawks have also announced, at the top of their playoff run, a new landing page on the team’s website to further unite fans via social media. A new landing page, presented by Bing, allows fans from around the world to “tap in” and demonstrate their support of the team. The site displays the top cities and countries of fans that participate on a world map in real time. Fans are invited to “tap in” at Seahawks.com/ImIn.
On Twitter and Facebook, the team has launched a playoff promotion last week around the hashtag #Hawkitecture.
Companies and local building owners have been invited to show their passion and support for the team by adding a Seahawks theme, i.e., flags, signage, colors, lights, etc., to the exterior of their building or structure. The #Hawkitecture must be visible to the general public.
Companies that shared images by using the hashtag #Hawkitecture via social media were eligible to win a customized “12th Player” jersey and flag raising event with a Seahawks player.
Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo has offered a $3 discount to fans wearing Seahawks garb for every day the Hawks have maintained the Super Bowl run.
