Last year was an overwhelming success so we just had to have this event again.
There are so many great Maker groups and communities in the Seattle-area and this event is to bring everyone together under one roof to share skills, collaborate on projects, and find resources. With Seattle Mini Maker Faire not being held this year it’s even more important that the Seattle Maker community has a way to stay connected.
Your Hosts:
Sarah (@sarahosell) and Bethany (@BethanyWeeks) – Women in 3D Printing Seattle
Monica (@zebular13) and Christina (@CyrChristina) – Hackster Hardware Meetup Seattle
Scott (@tannewt) and Eric (@flyer215) – Hardware Happy Hour (3H) Seattle
What We’ll Do:
• Have fun!
• Share projects and stories.
What to Bring:
Your projects in any stage of completion from basic concept/idea to working product. We want attendees to share both their successes and failures with fellow makers. You should have up to 3x3ft of table space and are welcome to bring a small 8.5×11 sign and/or business cards. We’ll also have note cards and sharpies for on-site labels. There will be limited access to power and attendees will need to bring their own extension cords. All projects will need to be cleaned up by 10pm.
We are still putting together all the details and next week hope to make some more announcements. All the great things we did last year, we hope to bring back again.
