The first 30 minutes of the event will be general networking and introductions, then the workshop will run from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
This workshop will cover:
-Information on 3D Printing, including the machines, materials, design process, and basics of the technology.
-Introductions to some of the best resources for first getting into 3D Printing, such as design programs, file libraries, and free slicing software.
-Ways to improve the quality of 3D prints with materials, post-processing, and
-Leave the workshop with your own 3D Printed item!
Taught by Brian Jaffe, founder of The CAD Advantage; Seattle’s source of 3D printing design, fulfillment, and education. Hosted at Makers Workspaces, a co-working space near the heart of downtown Seattle. There is plenty of street parking outside the building, and you’re only a five minute walk from Pike Place Market!
