4-Week Ideation Bootcamp, NWEN/Founder Institute

When: Monday, February 18, 2013, 6:30pm – 9:30pm

Where: TBD, Seattle Area

What: NWEN and the Founder Institute Seattle has created a 4-week bootcamp to help you evaluate the market validity of your startup idea. Over the four weeks you’ll be a part of an active conversation between founders and community mentors, helping to direct you on your startup idea and discuss key components in the following topics:

  • Big Markets/ Big Ideas/ Solving a Problem
  • Venture-Ready Market Research and Target Markets
  • Validating your idea: tools and methods
  • Communicating your idea (without getting lost in the details)

The goal is for you to discuss your startup idea, put it through the course, and walk out with a clear idea of whether you should move forward or move on. Let’s make this happen in 4 short sessions vs. dragging it out for 4 years. It’s about making you and your idea successful!

Your registration covers 4 sessions over a 4-week period beginning Wednesday, 1/23. All sessions will be from 6:30pm – 9:30pm followed by a social hour. You must commit to all 4 sessions before committing the registration.

  • Wednesday, 1/23 with Derrick Morton
  • Wednesday, 1/30 with David Bluhm
  • Wednesday, 2/6 with Bryan Trussel
  • Monday, 2/18 with Joanna Lord

During these sessions you will meet a selection of mentors and get practical advice and feedback on your startup idea.

Who: Mentors have a background in a number of markets, from business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), Gaming, and Enterprise.
