6 Degrees (of Networking), PSAMA
When: Thursday, March 28, 2013, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Fado Irish Pub, 801 1st Avenue, Seattle
What: The theory states that we are all connected to anyone else by an average of 6 people who know each other. Join us for a special networking session where we put the theory to practical use.
In this digital age, the average distance between any two people is shrinking and our social networks allow us to stay in touch with a much wider circle of people. Recent studies with Facebook, Twitter, and other online social environments have shown that number of connections to anyone else is as few as 3-5!
Take part as we participate in a simple and brilliant exercise that gives you (and everyone in the room) an opportunity to be a connector AND get closer to that special connection you’re looking for. Come prepared to share the connection you seek, whether it be: a company, a type of profession, a skilled person to join your team, or any other type of professional connection.
How Much: Members- $10, Non-Members- $15, Students- $10
