This interactive session will provide angel investors and entrepreneurs with explanations and examples of the most important elements of a term sheet for an early stage equity financing, why these terms are included and how they are used, and whether the term sheet is fair and balanced.

Greg Gottesman is co-founder and Managing Director of Pioneer Square Labs, a Seattle-based studio that creates and launches technology startups. He serves as a Venture Partner of Madrona Venture Group, where he formerly was a Managing Director for 17 years. Greg is the founder, former CEO and current board member of Rover.com, the world’s largest pet sitting marketplace, and co-founder of Spare5, where he now serves on the board.
