What: Celebrating the release of ARCADE issue 31.2 STEM + A = STEAM at the new The Bullitt Center, designed to be the greenest commercial building in the world.
A $20 suggested donation at the door brings beverages, including Hilliard’s beer, light fare, live musical entertainment and your copy of ARCADE. Denis Hayes, CEO of the Bullitt Foundation, will make brief remarks.
The feature section of ARCADE 31.2 STEM + A = STEAM is featured edited by the RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) STEAM Club and explores the exicting opportunities for innovation that arise when Art and Design is added to traditional STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education and practice. The March issue kicks off ARCADE’s three-issue series exploring the relationships between science/technology and art/design.
