This months talknight will showcase two speakers who will talk about their experiences building machine learning applications including why they chose the models they did, what technologies they used and their experiences deploying their apps.
Emre Ozdemir Ph.D., is a Data Scientist with a background in Nuclear, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Emre’s talk will cover his project called WOTS, a Python NLP based real-estate recommender that helps users purchase their dream home in Seattle.
Stephanie Peña is a Data Scientist with a background in product management and will share her project called ‘Don’t Fret Recommender’, a Python based guitar pedal recommender that helps users make more informed purchases when choosing a new guitar pedal.
