Champion Awards

In a year that has seen huge leaps forward in exposing companies, people and behaviors that affect women negatively, we believe it’s more important than ever to recognize the companies, people and behaviors that affect women positively. We want to shine the spotlight on our allies; to celebrate those who have done right by us; to say thanks where thanks are due.

So please join us as we celebrate the champions of the Seattle startup community. It will be a fun and memorable evening, featuring winner announcements from the stage, food and beverages from local women-owned companies, plenty of time for celebrating, and more surprises. It promises to be the biggest gathering of female founders and CEOs Seattle has seen in a long time… if ever.

All proceeds will fund the growth of the Female Founders Alliance. Thank you for being a part of our movement.

How to win a champion award:

All professional women in Seattle are encouraged to nominate their champions across five categories: Sponsors, Advocates, Role Models, Investors and Unsung Heroes. Nominees can be women, men, companies or organizations. You do not need to be a member of the Female Founders Alliance to be a nominee or win an award. Self nominations are encouraged. Nominations close on December 20th 2017.

Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee, who will choose five finalists in each category. All professional women in Seattle are invited to vote for the winners starting in January. Voting for certain awards will be restricted to members of the Female Founders Alliance.
