What: Startup 101 is TiE Seattle’s monthly tutorial for entrepreneurs, and August’s event will feature Chris Leyerle, founder and CEO of Phytelligence, a spinoff from Washington State University that provides better fruit plant starts for commercial growers with superior viability, vitality, size, yield, consistency and robustness, fostering horticultural success that is sustainable, lower cost and more productive.
Who: Chris is a serial entrepreneur, having previously been founder and COO of Hydrovolts, founder and President of Enerdyne Solutions, COO of iSoldIt and an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at WSU. Chris has also been a mentor to TiE members for the past two years.
