Content marketing and content design have been trending topics across different industries. What are they? Why are they important? Why should small businesses and nonprofits care about them too?
COVID-19 has changed how businesses and nonprofits communicate with their audiences — many organizations are having to pivot to online platforms. Having organized and clear storytelling can help your organization communicate effectively with your audience. It’s more important than ever to convey your brand message concisely and have it be accessible to your community immediately on your website and social platforms.
As communication leaders, we play a critical role in helping our communities navigate this time — from staying connected, to communicating during crises, to serving those in need.
With this in mind, we invited Misty Weaver to share her knowledge about content marketing and content design, and paired Misty with Seattle Coffee Works to provide tips for how to utilize storytelling, content strategy, and IA (information architecture) to leverage their online presence. In this case study session, Misty and Seattle Coffee Works will work together to evaluate their website and see what can be improved, and why. Communication Leadership Consulting will also provide tips and advice for improving content design on your own website after the event.
Join us on Zoom, February 26th, Friday 6-7 pm PST to hear about what content marketing and content design are and how we can use them to elevate our online assets.
