What: With 15 years in the technology and transportation industries, Dan Lewis is cofounder and CEO of Convoy, a Seattle startup that is reinventing trucking with on-demand services for local and regional shippers and carriers. Convoy is backed by a group of notable industry and technology leaders, and recently raised a $16M round led by Greylock partners. Before starting Convoy, Dan ran a group developing new products for Amazon, and prior to that led product and operations at Wavii (acquired by Google).
Dan started his career in management consulting at Oliver Wyman, before working for early mobile-phone startup Skydeck, and taking a product role at Microsoft. He grew up in Seattle and studied cognitive science at Yale.
