What: Almost every successful company, large or small, develops intellectual property (IP). Understanding how to properly protect IP, and how IP can be leveraged to build barriers to entry and attract investment capital, prepares entrepreneurs to make the right decisions at the right time.
COJK will host its annual entrepreneur workshop on November 11 and 13, 2014. Today’s morning program will include a basic overview of patents and the underlying laws, as well as an interactive discussion with real-world examples to demonstrate the patent system in action.
Registration and breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 8:00 a.m.
