This year’s Hackathon challenge will focus on how companies and organizations, such as Facebook and CNN, curate our news for us. What if your job was to curate the top news stories to different national security decision-makers that each had their own interests? Due to their incredibly demanding schedules, our nation’s leaders receive only a quick briefing with a printed book containing the news and information they need to know. Participants will be challenged to curate a more relevant briefing book for national security decision-makers, including refining, prioritizing, and suggesting the most relevant content for future briefing books.
If you were the curator for these books, how could we use your experiences choosing each day’s stories to refine, prioritize, and suggest the most relevant content for future briefing books?
