First Look Forum: Bellingham, WTIA
When: Tuesday, November 18, 2014 @ 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Where: Bellingham Golf & Country Club, 3729 Meridian St, Bellingham
What: First Look Forum is a bi-annual showcase wherein no more than 20 seed-stage companies too early for traditional angel and venture capital forums can go to meet people, make connections, and get started. Companies must have never publicly pitched, hence being a true “first look”. First Look Forum has been occurring bi-annually for the past 8 years [formerly operated by NWEN].Our goal is to bring value to all the companies that participate in the First Look Forum. Primarily, by preparing each company to be ready to pitch to angel investors or VC firms. The prizes and bragging rights in the entrepreneurial community for today’s finalists and winners are only part of it. The networking at today’s event, and the connections they’ve built with each other, are even more important.
Who: The winner of the event will take home a $10,000 grand prize to help kick-start their idea.
