Seattle Design Festival FutureShack Experience
Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion
The public is invited to join design professionals in a conversation about the future of home at FutureShack, a celebration of forward-thinking urban residential architecture.
The event, in its third year and now part of the 10-day Seattle Design Festival, is sponsored by AIA Seattle, a chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
FutureShack will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion. Doors open at 5 p.m. for a resource fair, “speed-date design” sessions with architects and a beer/wine reception. At 6:30 p.m. the FutureShack jury will discuss the program’s projects with moderator Ross Reynolds, host of KUOW’s “The Conversation.”
Admission $15, $5 for students, seniors and those with disabilities. For tickets and to see all of the projects entered in this year’s event go to www.aiaseattle.org/futureshack_2011.
