Generalization

The world external to mind contains nothing whatsoever other than particular cases. Without the ability to generalize human activity is inconceivable, and little automation as we know it would be possible.

The “holy grail” of AI is the automation of a machine that is so general that it can achieve its goals in practically any domain. Generalization is at the very center, literally, of artificial general intelligence.

In this meetup we will explore generality. Two mini-presentations are planned including an overview of generality and related topics.
