HR Trick or Treating: Employee Horror Stories & How to Make the Right Decisions in Tough Times

This session will discuss real life examples of difficult employee relations situations that would scare the bones off even the most experienced HR practitioner.  We will investigate solutions taken and propose alternatives.  Session will also discuss the ethics that are often involved when dealing with difficult employee situations and suggest a framework for making the right decisions when legal does not offer a clear cut solution.

Presenter is Michael Walters is a Senior HR Manager with Microsoft and currently supports businesses within their Windows Phone division.  Michael is also an instructor of Human Resources through the University of Washington School Of Business and is a frequent speaker at national SHRM and PIHRA conferences.
