Going to school online is hardly a new concept, but the abrupt shift from in-person to distance learning for the masses has exposed gaping holes in our ability to engage students in this format.
How can XR technologies make distance learning a better, more engaging experience?
Educational technologist and XR strategist David Bass-Clark will share a glimpse of what the future of distance learning might look like. As Director of VR/AR Research and Development at Unity College, his work focuses on creating XR experiences, immersive learning design, and innovative distance learning.

His work focuses on XR experiences, immersive learning design, and innovative distance learning. David also co-leads the NERCOMP Emerging Technology group, co-chairs the Champions in Higher Education for XR Consortium and the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN).
