Based on his new book, IN SEARCH OF A PROPHET: A Spiritual Journey with Kahlil Gibran (Rowman & Littlefield, September 2017), Paul-Gordon Chandler will take the listener on a fascinating journey through the all-embracing spiritually of Kahlil Gibran, the early 20th century Lebanese-American poet artist and mystic, author of the bestselling book The Prophet. He will explore how Kahlil Gibran, a supreme East-West figure, is an unparalleled spiritual guide in the midst of today’s global challenges, related to peace, harmony and building bridges between the cultures and creeds of the Middle East and West.

Paul-Gordon Chandler is an author, art curator, interfaith advocate, Episcopal priest and authority on the Middle East and Christian-Muslim relations. He is also the Founding President of CARAVAN, a peacebuilding non-profit that uses the arts to bridge between the Middle East and the West. CARAVAN’s is hosting a major East-West art exhibition titled I AM at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Seattle, between June 10 – August 7, 2018, featuring 31 premier Middle Eastern women artists from 12 countries. The opening program and reception for I AM will be held at St. Mark’s Cathedral on June 10. (Free and Open to the Public).
