What: Information security affects every organization. Whether you’re a sole proprietorship, public sector organization, or a multi-national corporation, directly or indirectly, the threats in today’s world can and will impact you.

In this presentation, WSTA will discuss current security threats and trends including malware, cloud based computing risks, mobile devices in the workplace, and critical infrastructure. Staying ahead of the threat landscape is a daily challenge and all organizations, public and private, must not only implement mitigation controls, but monitor those controls and be fully prepared to respond WHEN a breach or security incident occurs. They’ll discuss real world experiences, lessons learned, and steps your organization can take to improve your containment and response capabilities.
