About the Instructor

Dana is a Seattle-based multimedia designer that grew up in the semi-wilds of Alaska. Fascinated with how humans communicate, she studied Rhetoric at University of Alaska, storytelling at The Second City, and user experience design as part of the third UXDI cohort at General Assembly’s Seattle campus. Currently, Dana is a UX/UI Designer with Impinj, where she concentrates on improving aesthetics and usability of their developer’s portal.
While not at the whiteboard, Dana enjoys strolling through the lovely chaos of the Market, skipping rocks at large bodies of water, devising new furniture configurations for her apartment, and getting lost in a new book or art project.
