Part II: June 14th
Learn how to use tools from your public library to research your competitors and identify industry sales, trends, and margins.
A professional librarian will show you how to get the most out of library databases such as Plunkett Research and S&P NetAdvantage, and how to locate additional information from industry groups and trade publications.
Part III: June 21st
King County Library System Using SimplyMap for Marketing Research & Sales Presentation
Would you like to add more data to your marketing reports, or business plans? Learn to use SimplyMap, a free database with applications for identifying demographic information for specific target markets at a local level, and for creating detailed maps and reports.

Who: The speaker is Steven Bailey. Steven graduated from the University of Washington Information School. He has worked as a professional librarian since 2006. His experience includes public reference assistance at the UW Foster Business Library and at a variety of public library branches in King County. He is an adept at instruction and has presented business database instruction sessions for students at the University of Washington and Green River Community College. He is currently the branch manager of the Auburn Library, part of the King County Library System.
