Kinetoscope VR brings together innovators to explore virtual reality as an emerging art form. Kinetoscope VR Film Festival intersects the interactivity of new technologies & formats for Media & Cinema which exemplify the power of the cinematic arts to inspire and transform. A festival where we Honor Stories Worth Telling that are created by people of All Ages-All Cultures-All Media.
The deadline for application submissions is March 1, 2018.
We look for projects that show a mastery of both the creative and technical sides of virtual reality. We value craftsmanship and originality. We select projects that show us something new.
We accept projects in the following categories:
- Animation – Shorts, Features, 3D
- Live Action – Drone, SRC- Socially Responsible Content,
- STEAM-Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math
- Interactive – Augmented Reality, Apps, Virtual Reality
- Documentary – 3D, Features, Shorts
- Experimental – New Media, Made on Mobile/Tablet, Music Video
- Game – Apps, Digital Comics
