Where: Denny Playfield / Denny Park, 9th Avenue and John Street, Seattle
What: Lung cancer has risen 116% among women in the past 35 years (while falling 21% among men), killing more women every year than the next top three cancers combined. Now is the time to raise our voices against lung cancer – and for lung health for everyone.
This fun walk in the vibrant South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle celebrates the collective power of voice while benefiting the mission of the American Lung Association. The Walk features song, music, fitness, and activities for all ages in a festival atmosphere. Registration is free; earn prizes while you fundraise for a great cause. The route will be approximately 2.5 miles, starting and ending at Denny Playfield/Denny Park. The Walk will include musical guests, action, and prizes. Pets welcome.
