Who: Code Fellows
Where: 920 SW Third Ave. Floor 2, Portland, OR 97204
When: March 10, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
What: The fundamental concepts involved in creating responsive websites and web applications aren’t always clear.
Under the tutelage of Brian Nations, you will learn the basics behind responsive frameworks, relative sizing units, SASS and SCSS, and general design best practices. While going back to the basics, Brian will lead you through a “learn while you build” approach and by the end you’ll have a single page layout that uses all of the topics defined above.
Brian Nations has years of industry and teaching experience with a variety of companies and institutions. Some of his work has included both client and server-side development of eCommerce platforms with Blue Acorn as well as sineLABS. He has also previously taught with the Charleston Digital Corridor before coming to Code Fellows to teach our 301 course in web development.
